Homemakers Fair returns in 2027 at full size, under new organisers, with the heart of the show exactly where you left it.
Homemakers is going back to the show people remember. For 2027 we've taken the full venue again – Halls A to D, the viewing deck and the outdoor area – so there's room for everything that made Homemakers worth the trip.
Kitchens, cupboards, bathrooms, décor, outdoor living and renovation experts are still the centre of it all. That part doesn't change.
A home isn't just the house. It's dad's new cupboards, mom's pram, the baby's toys, something handmade on the shelf and Sunday lunch together. So around the Homemakers core, we've added the rest of life.
Homemakers has always been about the house. But the people choosing a new kitchen or redoing the spare room are very often the same people pushing a pram. So for 2027, the Kids & Baby Expo is joining Homemakers Fair.
For families, it means one big weekend out: the house and the little ones sorted in one trip, with makers and food along the way. For exhibitors, it means more of the right visitors under one roof.
The heart of Homemakers stays exactly the same. Kids & Baby gets its own dedicated area alongside it.
EventX (Pty) Ltd is a Gauteng events and exhibitions company based in Bedfordview. We run consumer shows, trade exhibitions and experiential events – and we've built a lot of them around the home and family.
Our team has worked on The Home Expo, Home Technology Expo, Garden & Home Expo, the Living & Loving Kids & Baby Expo, Your Family Creative Crafts & Arts Expo, Appetite Fest and the East Rand Easter Show. Homemakers is a show we know, and one we want to do properly.
The categories you know stay. The experts you came back for every year are welcome back.
What we're adding is more reason for the whole family to come – and to stay all day.
